Metals that naturally attract magnets are known as ferromagnetic metals; these magnets will firmly stick to these metals. For example, iron, cobalt, steel, nickel, manganese, gadolinium, and lodestone are all ferromagnetic metals. Ferritic and martensitic stainless steels are magnetic. Annealed Austenitic stainless steels are non-magnetic. Ceramic knives and stainless steel knives made from austenitic steel are not magnetic and will not stick to a magnetic holder. However, most stainless steel knives are made from martensitic steel, which is magnetic

I have attached 2 metal concealed metal clips on the back so that you can mount it on your wall without any visible open space. I have added screws which you can use. The magnets are also concealed and will not fall out or break.

I have put an nice matte hardwax oil on the Rack for protection. You can easily remove the dust and clean without damaging the Rack.
